During the Summer–Autumn 2026 growing season, rice blast disease outbreaks became particularly severe on the OM18 rice variety in Tan Hiep, in the former Kien Giang Province. Some rice fields suffered extensive blast damage, causing the rice canopy to collapse and putting the entire harvest at risk.
Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, HAI Pesticide Joint Stock Company implemented rice blast management measures to contain the spread of the disease and its pathogens while helping affected rice plants recover through two treatment solutions:
Solution 1: Newbem 75WP + Bonny 4SL
Solution 2: Felling 692WP + Bonny, for disease outbreak suppression

With HAI Pesticide’s two rice blast management solutions, the field showed substantial recovery 10 days after spraying:
The rice blast disease was effectively suppressed.
The rice plants recovered and resumed healthy growth.
Ten days after treatment with Newbem and Felling, the rice field showed no visible signs of rice blast and had recovered well.
Both treatment approaches delivered positive results, and the farmer was highly satisfied with HAI’s two rice blast management solutions.
